Looking to expand your knowledge on specific topics but unsure where to begin? If you’re a teacher in North Carolina, consider partnering with us! From the mountains to the Piedmont and along the coast, our North Carolina History Center offers engaging symposia for educators focused on Civil War, Emancipation, and Reconstruction topics. Scholars across the state present and conduct interactive lectures to assist you in better teaching these topics to your students. He has organized several symposia throughout the state, including locations like Wilmington, Elizabeth City, Asheville, Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro, New Bern, and several others.
