We would like to first thank you all for your continued support for the NC History Center on the Civil War Emancipation & Reconstruction. Without your generous support we could not make it to this point in our development.
Regarding the construction of the building, the final pour for the third section of the concrete slab is complete, and the installation of exterior and interior cold formed metal framing, as well as sheathing, is moving along well. Additionally, crews are installing ductwork, along with electrical and plumbing systems during this phase.
Although there’s still a lot to be done, we are excited about the recent progress made. We appreciate your commitment and support once again.
