I found this obituary for Clark Allen in the personal effects of my Aunt Ethel Hinson. It was passed down from Larkin Allen, a brother of Clark’s and my 2nd Great-grandfather. Clark’s Civil War headstone is in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Grover, Cleveland County. He was a founding member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. I gave the original obituary to one of Clark’s direct descendants.
